For use on:
Concrete floors, wood floors, countertops, tables, etc. Can be applied directly to concrete or wood, over flake or quartz, or over epoxy as detailed in the TDS sheet.
PROPERTIES:
Based on 75°F @ 50% RH*
- Pot Life: 10–15 Mins
- Gel Time: 20 Mins
- Tack Free: 45–80 Mins
- Re-Coat Time: 1–2 Hours
- Light Foot Traffic: 5–8 Hours
- Heavy Foot Traffic: 12–24 Hours
*Higher temperatures and humidity will shorten pot life and cure times. Lower temperatures and/or lower humidity will extend pot life and cure times.
COVERAGE RATE:
- Direct to Concrete: 150–265 ft² per gallon (6–11 mils)
- Top Coat over Full Broadcast Flake Floors: 130–200 ft² per gallon (8–12 mils)
- Top Coat over Metallic Floors: 130–200 ft² per gallon (8–12 mils)
- Grout Coat over Full Broadcast Quartz: 100–150 ft² per gallon (11–16 mils)
Coverage rates may vary depending on surface porosity, texture, and application method. Avoid applying thicker than 10–15 mils at one time to prevent excessive buildup.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
The concrete surface must be mechanically and structurally sound, completely clean, and dry. Mechanically prepare the surface by shot blasting or diamond grinding with 30 grit or coarser diamonds to achieve a dust-free CSP-3 profile. This ensures flatness, removes surface impurities, and creates the proper substrate profile. Do not apply to wet surfaces or outside recommended temperature and humidity limits.
MIXING:
Ensure materials are at least 50°F prior to use.
- Pre-mix Part A and Part B separately for 1–2 minutes.
- Combine in equal parts (1:1) by volume and mix for 2–3 minutes at low speed, ensuring thorough distribution.
- While mixing, add Part C (Matting Agent) and ensure full saturation.
- Avoid over-mixing, which can introduce air or moisture into the mixture.
For best results, pour the mixed contents into a clean container and mix again briefly. Begin application immediately after mixing.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Pour mixed material onto the surface and spread using a flat or small-notch squeegee. Back-roll with an 18” lint-free, shedless 3/8” nap roller. Avoid puddles and ensure an even coat. For detailed areas, use a brush or small roller. If the material thickens during application, stop and discard the mixed material, as it has reached the end of its pot life.
Ensure overlaps are applied while the primer is still wet or tacky. Clean tools with Xylene immediately after use.
